The Squire seemed content with the simple answer of ‘yes’ to the fact that Lav was a special elf.
“So - If I am following this correctly, the way that the space around you freezes is your heritage? That is who you are through the union of your parents. Meanwhile you have at the same time devoted yourself to your faith, and that is mainly what you wield in battle?”
The Knight was deconstructing the origin and nature of the powers - they had asked the questions, and danced around but in his own way Korruk was showing he had some ability to put these things together.
“And your order - They are one of warrior priests by nature? Or do you serve a particular wing, and would you say your style of both fighting and garb are indicative of how your order operate? And this is not one of the Imperial Pantheon, is it?”
From ideas of spewing ice and fighting fey to bureaucracy - what a conversation.

Lavandul offered a nod to Korruk puzzling out the difference. Though things were only about to get more confusing the more he dug. They glanced at the armour Dhakin was carrying, mouth open slightly as they mulled the question.
"Yes, it's a clerical order that I would best describe as organized chaos. We have a creed, but the nature of how we enact our service is our own...if we all did the same thing it would defeat the idea. The uniform pertains to a certain aesthetic, but I wouldn't go so far as to say we all dress the same."
Their brow pinched as they considered how to approach the question of Faith. "Not directly. We would see the Pantheon as anthropomorphizing forces of the universe, which allows a connection. Seeing is believing, so I am not surprised that the chaos of the astral plane and dreams manifests such things with enough singular focus." Even being careful, the elf sounded condescending in how sure they were that the Gods were dreamed up by mankind. However, that didn't interfere with their own religiosity.
"As a paladin, your faith in an ideal manifests power. You have heroes of legend that direct the behaviour of your families and society. So why not take the extra step and deify these concepts? Especially if it grants you access divine channels. Warlocks understand this on a contractual level, as I think on it...minor aspects of a greater domain taking the form of conscious entities; then they can summon...weaker...spirits...of these realms."
Lavandul tilted their head, watching carefully if their long lived rambling was hitting any nerves.

"So if I understand the theme of your order, rather than applying to a specific doctrine it is the interpretation of a philosophy between its members? That is a concept I am familiar with. The Legions of Orgthengaar are the soldiers of The Imperator - hence the orderly march, matching armor, uniform tactics. They are the tide that see's his will done. In contrast, the knightly caste are those chosen by The Arbiter, the actual God of War who manifests their ways in many different forms. What I accomplish with an Axe is different than Ghazza with a flail, or how Dhakin's sister dances with spear and spell - but all are forms of fighting, and all are techniques we have honed - almost like a prayer to The Arbiter."
The division of how military might, war, battle, and training…It was a neat and tidy little box for the Empire to compartmentalise their structure and faith. A reason why they had seen so much success more than likely.
"However, while some of those words are over my head - I will argue that your concept is backwards, that the primal forces are a result of the strength of the God's aura. Much like how one can command a room or drain its energy simply by entering, the God's are such forces those same unrefined forces simply radiate from them. Dealing with how that may manifest is often a form of worship, with the most simple example being The Imperator - in creating order, we counter the chaos. Plus, Warlocks, hah, they don't sign their accursed contracts with just any rock or strange man in an alleyway - its the difference between their power and simply being a fool."
Down the hall, danger…Tordora with a sharp look.
"Get dressed. This is a proper house."
Korruk seemed to realize the ridiculousness of the situation and where they were now as Tordora shuffled away.
"We can continue in the courtyard if you'd like? I'll fetch some bread and oil to tide us until Tordora finishes the pig that is roasting."
Lav's lesson of orcs…They eat big, hunger would not be thier enemy while they housed here.
